Riu d’art presentation 2019

What a great time we all had walking the route of the new artworks from this year’s Riu d’art residency. International, national and local artists worked tirelessly for two weeks sharing ideas, food and drink, experiences whilst getting to know the local people in the village.

Village life is truly complimented by the project, now in it’s 4th year, with neighbours opening their homes to visiting artists for chats, coffee and cake as well as lending their equipment and motivation and critique!

This year’s residency welcomed artists from Italy, Lithuania, Galicia, Russia and Chile, alongside local resident artists. The energy for the project is growing year on year with neighbours offering their facades for future projects, culminating in an open air gallery in the streets of Riba-roja d’Ebre.
