Do the Riu d’art route this summer!
The 3rd edition of the Riu d’art residency is complete and we now boast 18 multimedia artworks installed in the village of Riba-roja d’Ebre. Works range from delicate illustrations to large scale murals, from graffiti ‘street art’ and contemporary installation art through to performance and sculpture. The artworks have been created by artists from all over the world including Riba-roja d’Ebre itself, Singapore, Austria and the United States.
You can do the route this summer with the help of this awesome map and handy leaflet designed by one of the Riba Rocks Association members. Maps are available in all the bars and restaurants throughout the village, so get moving and get your fill of awesome contemporary art in this open air gallery!
And remember, next to each artwork there is a sign with a QR code which you can scan on your device and it will take you to the artist’s page on the Riu d’art website. The artist explains more about their work and their inspiration with links to their own website and social media channels. The website is in Catalan, Spanish and English.
