The Market

‘Mercat d’Artesans’ is a pop-up event organised by the Riba Rocks Association. The market offers local artists and artisans the opportunity to exhibit and sell their works and products. It showcases local producers’ activities, services and products in the Riba-roja d’Ebre area. Including honey, olive oil, wood turning and sustainable agriculture. We want to highlight the importance and tradition of local producers and to reinforce a more sustainable economy of production and consumption.

On the Riba Rocks stall, you can purchase our organic olive oil and preserved olives from The Valley, as well as original merchandise including T-Shirts, cups, wristbands and stickers. All Riba Rocks products are exchanged on a donation basis to the not-for-profit Riba Rocks Association.

Riba Rocks Association offers an artisan bar during these events. We serve local craft drinks as well as fresh smoothies in the hotter months. The Riba Rocks kitchen serves homemade vegetarian and vegan food (with gluten free options too!). The menu includes veggie burgers, falafel, cookies, pizzas, salads, fruits and more!

Items on show and for sale include: original artists’ canvases, prints, cards, wood turning, silk art, jewellery, ecological cosmetics, organic farm produce, illustrations, sculptures and much more!

‘Mercat d’Artesans’ also presents live music and DJ sessions. We also arrange live art and creative workshops for all ages.

We invite those creatives without a permanent ‘shop front’. The ‘mercat d’Artesans’ takes applications from artists and artisans who would like to participate in the next event. Please contact us if you would like to apply to be part of the next market.
