The Riba Rocks festival weekend celebrates local and international music and creativity. Set in the natural ampitheatre of The Valley near to the stunning River Ebro and surrounded by picturesque mountain backdrop. The event showcases amazingly talented solo artists, bands and DJs from the UK, Catalunya and further afield.

All this mixed with wonderfully creative contemporary art exhibitions, yoga sessions and the artisan market. Sustainability workshops, nature and history talks and poetry sessions also take place in the tipi. Coming to the Riba Rocks festival offers you the chance to unplug from everyday existence and immerse yourself in this incredible natural environment.

Over the 4 editions of the festival we saw visitor numbers grow. Weekend valley dwellers enjoyed some of the best live acts around. Ibiza’s Mambo DJs headlined as part of their summer tour and to top it off the event received an award for ‘Best Festival for Contribution to Sustainability’ at the Iberian Festival Awards.

We are always seeking ways to improve the sustainability of the festival in the The Valley finca environment and we trust the two can run parallel and in harmony. We have an emphasis on looking after the land by using water less facilities. Our festival kitchen is completely plastic free and we reuse or recycle as much of the waste produced by the festival as possible.

The event is run on a not-for-profit basis. Any and all profits are reinvested into future events as well as the maintenance and improvements to infrastructure, no wages are taken. It is simply a reason to get together amidst nature, meet new people and listen to some awesome music, dancing in the dust until the early hours.

The Riba Rocks Association are looking to bring the festival back in the near future. For now, we are concentrating our efforts on the farm, improving infrastructure and developing more sustainable practices. Thank you for your patience!
